We are delighted to announce that the international economist, Mariana Mazzucato, will be keynote speaker at the 27th TCI Global Conference in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Mariana is a renowned economist and researcher recognized for her work on the role of the State in driving innovation. Her approach challenges conventional perceptions about state entrepreneurship and public investment in the economy.

The #TCI2024 will address the impact of AI & disruptive technologies in clusters, innovation ecosystem, and in human progress, but also how policies and collaboration are evolving for the new future.

The 2nd TCI Cluster Accelerator Program already kicked off!

The second edition of the TCI Cluster Accelerator Program has kicked off with 20 participants representing cluster organizations and networks from 11 countries.

In April, we had two sessions featuring expert talks by Eoin Byrne from Cyber Ireland and Christoph Matthias from Business Upper Austria. These sessions were facilitated by John Hobbs from Munster Technological University and Ásta Kristín Sigurjónsdóttir from Iceland Tourism Cluster. 

In May, we will continue with individual mentoring sessions with experts from the TCI Network.

We are excited to accompany this great group of cluster leaders on their transformative journey!

News from the TCI Oceania Chapter 🔊

The TCI Oceania Working Committee has some exciting news to share, including a refresher of its membership. With heartfelt thanks, we farewell Professor Allan O'Connor and Ifor Ffowcs-Williams from the Working Committee after many years of sharing their knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm with the Oceania region and global network.

We also welcome two new TCI members to the team, with James Krahe from the Future Food Systems CRC and Alisi Tuqa from The Pacific Community, joining existing Working Committee members Jacqueline Brinkman from Economic Development Australia, Dr Nicola Watts from C4 Impact, and Dr Mirjana Prica from Food Innovation Australia Ltd.

As important first steps, the Working Committee will decide on a 2025 TCI Regional conference (to which you will all be invited to escape a northern winter!) and grassroots project opportunities to support innovation ecosystems in the region.
