We invite TCI Network members to join our Board of Directors. If you are motivated by lasting impact, sharing your ideas and experience, and want to collaborate with peers from across the globe to advance TCI’s mission, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

As part of our regular partial renewal process, the TCI Network has opened the call for two (2) new Board members. We are seeking candidates with relevant experience in clusters and innovation ecosystems, and strong governance capability, collaborative leadership, and the ability to contribute strategically to the continued development of the TCI Network. Candidates that help strengthen the global reach and representation of the TCI Network, namely Asia, North America and Africa, are encouraged to apply.

Selection criteria

Candidates will be assessed against a Board competency framework to ensure a strong, balanced, and future-oriented Board composition. The assessment will consider relevant experience in clusters and innovation ecosystems, governance and strategic oversight capabilities, behavioural competencies required for effective board participation, and leadership or functional expertise that complements existing Board strengths. Candidatures will be evaluated in the context of the Board’s collective needs, with consideration to diversity across experience, background, and international perspective.

Election process

Candidatures will be reviewed by a Nominating Committee. Short-listed candidates may be invited for an interview and will be presented to the General Assembly for election. Directors are elected by a majority vote of eligible members present at the General Assembly.

Term of office

Elected directors will serve a three-year term, in accordance with TCI’s bylaws, and may stand for re-election for a further term.

Key dates

• 2 February – Open call for candidates
• 16 February – Deadline for nominations
• 20 February – Candidates notified of selection
• 25 March (12:00 CET) – General Assembly (virtual), including election of Board members
