More than 150 cluster practitioners connected for the #TCILatam webinar on “The role of cluster initiatives in designing and implementing internationalization strategies in times of COVID-19”, that took place last July 22.

During the discussion with the panelists Miguel Bustos, Bogotá-region Pharmaceutical Cluster,  Ángeles Vela, Csoftmty Cluster TIC Nuevo León, Mexico,  Jaime Echeverri, Chamber of Commerce of Medellín for Antioquia and  Frederic Subirats, ACCIÓ Colombia, we explored the following questions:

  • How do cluster initiatives become means for the design and implementation of internationalization strategies?
  • What are the main actions and tools to include in internationalization strategies?
  • What adjustments should be made in the cluster strategies to deal with the slowdown in international trade caused by COVID-19?
