TECES, Green Tech Cluster


TECES is a Slovenian energy innovation cluster established in 2001. Having a vast experience in managing and coordinating of strategic development partnerships, TECES has been a leader of several Slovenian partnerships and projects, and one of the key actors in the implementation of the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy. It primarily brings together leading Slovenian companies from electronic and electro-industry, energy sector, providers and users of green technologies and energy efficient solutions, top research educational institutions, professional associations and other stakeholders of the Slovenian innovation ecosystem. Since 2017 TECES has been the leader and one of the coordinators of Strategic Research Innovation Partnership Smart Buildings and Home including Wood Chain (SRIP PSiDL), which is one of the nine key national long-term partnerships to support implementation of the S4. It brings together members from ranges of smart, sustainable and nearly zero energy buildings, smart devices and systems, active building management and connectivity of buildings with smart communities, user-adapted ambience, wood products and advanced construction products. Since 2020 TECES has been the leader and coordinator of the Slovenian Energy and Environment Partnership In Defence (Si EnE) under the auspices of TECES and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia (Si MoD), which aims to address energy and environmental challenges in defence programmes in a strategic and comprehensive manner.
