Anastasiia Konstantynova


Anastasiia has over 12 years’ experience in science, industrial and innovation policy, particularly in the field of regional development, cluster development and business transformation. At Technopolis Anastasiia leads the development of international cooperation business unit, incl. several international and European projects in the field of SME support, industry and policy advice funded by EC, AFDB, etc. Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Anastasiia worked in industry - Lufthansa Systems, strategy consulting, business support agency – Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and research at Orkestra – Basque Institute of Competitiveness. Together with Steinbeis and as a part of Cluster Agentur Baden-Wuttemberg she was supporting clusters, SMEs, start-ups and midcaps on their development and growth pathways, especially from technology transfer and innovation side. Before that at Orkestra Basque Institute of Competitiveness Anastasiia led a range of projects focusing on support and development of cluster policies and smart specialisation strategies in the Basque country and other European regions. In parallel, she was also advising various regional, national and international policy and decision-making organizations, like UNIDO, European Commission, GIZ etc. on the key areas of industrial policy development, with particular focus on value chains, clusters and technology transfer. Anastasiia has successfully defended her doctoral thesis (magna cum laude) focusing on the evaluation of regional economic development and cluster policies – case study of the Basque Country and Upper Austria. Prior to that she has graduated with Master’s in International Relations from the same institution - Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt (Germany). She is native in Ukrainian and Russian, but fluent in English, German, Spanish, and has some basic understanding in Dutch and Polish.
