Robyn Stokes

Dr Robyn Stokes became the CEO of Bionics Queensland, a not-for-profit charity in early 2020. Robyn’s interest in health and bio-medical advances was piqued in shaping Brisbane and Queensland’s plans to leverage Australia’s G20 Leaders’ Summit and the Brisbane Global Café. At Bionics Queensland, Robyn has spearheaded Australia’s first-ever Bionics Challenge and plans for a national Human Bionics Living Lab Community. Recent projects include a Bionics Innovation Ecosystem Mapping Study and Innovation Insights Series across bionic mobility, bionic senses, bionic implants and organs plus neurotech advances and brain-computer-interfaces. The new Insights Series is informing a Draft 10 Year Roadmap for Medical Bionic Innovations.
