Mary Meehan is a cluster development and innovation specialist with extensive experience in digital manufacturing and supercluster feasibility. She has served as Project Lead for a cross-border Digi Manufacturing Cluster initiative on behalf of Manufacturing NI, working in close collaboration with the IDEAM Cluster (Ireland) and a wide network of AMME stakeholders, including ATIM, GEMX, MEGA, Skillnets, GTMA, and regional Chambers of Commerce. She is currently working as a Cluster Facilitator on an NI Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, leading feasibility and scoping activity informed by international best practice, including governance models, funding and investment frameworks, operating structures, and sustainability integration. Trained in Christian Rangen’s cluster and innovation strategy tools, she applies proven methodologies to cluster design, SME engagement, supply-chain development, and collaborative network building across public, private, and academic sectors. Mary also brings strong experience in EU funding, export, and internationalisation, having delivered consultancy for InterTradeIreland and Invest NI, and previously led International Services for Chambers Ireland, including programme delivery under Asia Invest and AL-INVEST. She is a fluent Spanish speaker with a good working knowledge of French.
