Reza Zadeh


Reza Zadeh is the Executive Director of the European Foundation for Clusters Excellence, an independent not-for-profit foundation dedicated to improving the European competitiveness by promoting and improving cluster management as a discipline and providing appropriate training programmes. His main area of expertise is in cluster-based economic development and innovation systems. For the past 20 years he has been involved in formulation, implementation and evaluation of regional competitiveness and innovation strategies. He frequently acts as an expert / advisor to governmental and multi-lateral bodies on cluster policy and regional innovation. He was educated in Leeds, UK, where he obtained a BSc and an M. Phil. degree in engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer and has a joint MBA from Cranfield and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
