Manuel Montoya Ortega

Since October 2012, Manuel Montoya is member of the Board of Directors of TCI. He is General Manager of the Automotive Cluster of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was responsible for organizing the 7CLAC - 7th TCI Latin American Cluster Conference and the TCI Global Conference 2014 in Monterrey. He has a long career in business and has participated as board member in many regional development-oriented organizations such as Fomento Cultural y Deportivo, A.C., Promotora de Iniciativas de Desarrollo, A.C., Inmobiliaria Seival, A.C., Impulso Educativo y Social, A.C., and Centro de Competitividad de Monterrey, A.C. He has worked as consultant in strategic planning, business plan development, and cluster development. Manuel holds a PhD in Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, a Master in Business Administration by the IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain and a degree in Chemical Engineering by the ITESM Monterrey.
