Victoria Georgieva,

Merete Daniel Nielsen was re-elected for TCI President 2020-2022 at the TCI General Assembly held on November 25, this year taking place virtually.

Merete, who was first elected for President in 2018, has presented her candidature for re-election. During the voting, she was fully supported by the TCI Members and will continuing leading the organization.

“Together with you, our members, I plan to work further on strengthening our global connections, go deeper in the policy learning around clustering and to keep on inspiring clusters. This year we had much success in our digitalisation efforts and I think we can go even further on this road to fulfil our vision and mission. Looking into 2021 and beyond, I’m certain that new areas for development are emerging where TCI Network can keep on acting as the global clusters experts' network together with you - our dedicated members”, Merete stated.

During the TCI General Assembly, four new members of the TCI Board of Directors were elected.

Serving the organization as Directors 2020-2023, Septi Bukula from Seeza Tourism SME Network (South Africa), Yeinni Patiño, Confecámaras (Colombia), Mirjana Prica, FIAL (Australia) and Oliver Torres, CODER (Mexico), will join the other Directors to work further on the TCI agenda.
