TCI-MOC Asia Conference

Claudia Soncin,

This online (and hybrid) conference was organised jointly between the TCI Asia Chapter and the MOC Asia Chapter to learn from new experiences in collaborationas industries and countries begin to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic. Collaboration is seen by industry leaders, policy makers and society as key tolay the groundwork for recovery in the new post-Covid-19 environment.  At the conference, we focused on how green, social and digital challenges are been addressed through collaboration in Asia and globally, and we discussed ideas and show cases from Asian stakeholders.

This was a practical, policy-driven, visual, presentation and case study based online conference, bringing together ideas, cases, papers and videos to examine the emergence of new forms of collaboration and how policy and practice can make collaboration effective in Asia. The conference also included sessions for students to present their ideas and case studies. We followed-up with support for publication in collaboration with TCI and MOC affiliates worldwide.

The MOC Asia Chapter draws from the Harvard Business School Microeconomics of Competitiveness Network comprising over 100 universities worldwide. The TCI Asia Chapter draws from a worldwide network of 9,000 practitioners working inclusters and innovation ecosystems. The TCI Asia Chapter is a regional platform within the TCI Network that supports strategic activities and projects in the region that Asian members jointly identify and drive.
